“In Matthew 10:24-34, we find Jesus going right to the heart of the issue and talking about releasing the sword. Jesus tells us in verse 28, do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” —Scripture: Matthew 10:24-34 ~ Notes of life

“There’s a point in tragedy and fear, in the almost impenetrable scope of the disaster that we have created for ourselves, where everything reverses.
Where that tragedy and fear gets sucked through the other end and comes out absolutely hilarious and ridiculous. For someone like myself, that reversal is a saving grace.”

“Today’s ideal is consumerism. It is a homologating civilisation that makes everything the same.

Without ideology? What, it has no ideology? With a consumer ideology you don’t… instead of having a flag, the clothes they wear are their flag.

Some of the means and some of the external phenomena have changed but, in practice, it’s a depauperation of individuality which is disguised through its valorisation”

Paolo Nori » Siamo aperti (via phonkmeister)
